A Humanist Wedding
Saturday was an absolute dream! Charis and Claire chose to have a humanist ceremony at Cobbles in Ogmore in the evening. Due to the timing they arranged to have a first look session at Ogmore Castle ruins along with the family photos before heading to the beach.
We took Charis to the castle where she nervously waited for her bride, the moment they saw each other was so gorgeous! Charis looked beautiful in E&W Couture from Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique and floral crown by Ivy B, Claire was stunning in her dress from Wed 2 B. Both finished off the look with Harry Potter socks (Gryffindor and Slytherin to be specific) and DMs. Their hair and make up was done by Emma Louise Low and Liz Orford.
We had two whole hours for the photos/film which was a big luxury for us! We had such a blast with the two of them which was probably made even better by the fact we had previously met up with them several times and became friends too.
Their ceremony was performed by Hannah – Celebrant Wales, and it was so personal we were nearly in tears ourselves. After the ceremony we headed across the road to capture the sunset and ended up with a surprising audience…
Cobbles was an amazing, unique setting and they put on an amazing grazing spread. Then afterwards we couldn’t help but have a dance to the incredible Apple Tree Theory, if you are looking for a wedding band definitely check them out!
