Wholehouse Farm Festival Wedding | When Imogen Married Daniel
WOW wow wow! What can I say but wow?
The Wholehouse has been on my wishlist of wedding venues for as long as I can remember now, and it definitely did not disappoint!
I photographed Imogen’s sister’s humanist wedding at their mum’s house back in 2021 and I was thrilled to be reunited with this wonderful, kind and fun family.
Imogen & Dan made so many great choices for their day, it was 100% up my street. I think the only bad(ish) choice they made was wool wedding suits as, even though it was a September wedding, it turned out to be the hottest day of the year!
They chose a festival wedding theme, with Glastonbury themed tables and plenty of disco balls.
During their wedding ceremony they had some gorgeous readings, including Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen) by Baz Luhrmann and Dear Husband which had most of us in tears!
Later, everyone went outside in the September sunshine and played garden games, hopped on the party bus at sunset, visited the amazing Eco Stardust glitter bar, and danced to the fabulous Coachellas. The couple asked their guests to bring an item of fancy dress which led to some amazing dancefloor fun – hard recommend!
I basically fangirled everything about this wedding venue and the couple’s choices from the moment I arrived. If you don’t know The Wholehouse, it is in Talgarth in Brecon. You will be greeted at the entrance by some very colourful cows. The main house is so light and spacious and every design choice has been perfectly thought out – perfect for wedding morning prep!
The barn has wonderful natural light and disco balls (sold.), and there is an incredible mural on the side by the amazing Alice of All Frills Studio who also designed my branding and logo.
Last but not least the venue has a party bus, assault course and zip line, fire pit, the nicest owners – Kayleigh & Huw, SO many photo backdrops, and the most photogenic toilets in the world. No I have not been paid for this post, I just really want to be invited back!
