Pink + Red Wholehouse Wedding | When Cara Married Kate

This was a day when all of the wedding gods aligned, Cara + Kate’s Wholehouse wedding was so massively up my street, I still pinch myself thinking about it.

A Wholehouse Wedding

Cara and Kate got married in my all time favourite South Wales venue, The Wholehouse in Talgarth, Bannau Brycheiniog. They basically just wanted a really fun, chilled day with lots of colour and good vibes, and this is definitely what they got!

Their colour scheme was pink and red, with a bit of orange & silver thrown in – it was gorgeous! They had recommended supplier Lucy Coco as their florist, who did such a gorgeous job, and Kayleigh from the Wholehouse made their festival style bunting which really finished off the room.

Kate had the main house to get ready in, and Cara got ready in the Granary cottage next door. One of the things I love about the Wholehouse is that it’s really easy for me to go back and forth between the two in the morning, but for this wedding I had the lovely Kate Ventress as a second shooter so it was even more chilled.

Cara + Kate had not one but three confetti moments! The dream! They had real petals thrown as they walked back up the aisle, a big confetti walk moment outside with pink + red confetti from Your Confetti, and then confetti cannons during their first dance. We had a perfect golden hour, during which the brides both had some fun on the zip line before jumping onto the trampoline. Obviously I just had to get in there with them!

This is definitely a wedding I will be fondly looking back on for years to come, I am so grateful to Cara + Kate for choosing me to capture their incredible day.
